Every Last Rock
It's simple. Become infatuated with rock climbing. Really though, earthlings can achieve so much when they put their mind to it, and if you can’t get stoked, then forget about it... OK, so now that the obvious has been stated, there might be some useful information on this site. If you are anything like me, you probably think about climbing more than anything else. Yet, most of us only get to pull on that sweet stone on the weekends after long drives and no sleep.
I'm here to tell you how to squeeze every last rock (see what I did there) out of your precious time. I've gotten pretty good at it living in Florida, where we put collapsed buildings and seawalls on Mountain Project due to lack of natural rocks. Ten plus hour trips without missing a day of work is tough. It takes precise planning and an insane level of commitment. How do you make it? Caffeine, Adrenaline, Obsession. First off, forget about sleeping. If you want to climb every pebble big enough to trip over, you have to treat sunlight as a premium. Get up at the crack of dawn and get to climbing! Did you drive all the way to the crag to sleep? Trust me, if you want to climb, there are no better places to sleep. If you can afford the luxury of sleeping close to the crag more than one night, let’s say in your SUV or van, not such a bad choice. We have all the beta for Car Camping, don't worry. Do I call it early so I can crush first thing tomorrow or do I get trashed and party all night? Don't get me wrong, I like to throw back a few as much as anyone after a crushfest, but there is a balance. What about that project where you blew the last move? Or that aggravating dyno that's just out of reach? This is your chance to get some sleep and put in some real hard burns. Within this website, we cover all the gear, crags, and know how you need to make your climbing experience the best it can be.
Enjoy and Keep Crushing!
